Toban Shadlyn is a multidisciplinary designer working in the field of architecture, strategic design and research.
Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, she currently lives in Providence, Rhode Island, USA.
Toban’s work as a spatial designer has led to adaptive reuse projects for residential, commercial and civic spaces within Canada and the US. Her strategic design and research work has led to collaborations in the public sector, working with the Rhode Island State government, the Rhode Island Public Libraries, and the City of Edmonton. She is currently working with the Centre for Complexity at the Rhode Island School of Design.
Toban holds a Master of Design in Interior Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design, a Bachelors of Science in Textiles from the University of Alberta and a Certificate in Foresight and Coolhunting FashionTrends from the Istituto Europeo Di Design in Barcelona, Spain.
